Natural materials
Impressive performance
Hempcrete binds more CO2 than is released during its production (-100 kg/m³ compared to +220 kg/m³ for normal concrete).
It transforms buildings into certified carbon sinks and supports global climate goals.
CO2 negativity
With an insulation value of 0.06-0.07 W/m-K, Hempcrete ensures excellent energy efficiency and reduces heating and cooling costs. At the same time, it offers fire resistance (EI120 at 12 cm plastered) and natural mold resistance, ensuring safety and durability.
Thermal insulation
Hemp grows regionally in just 110 days, requires little water, can be cultivated without pesticides and provides around 7 tons of building material per hectare - a renewable resource with a minimal ecological footprint.

With a weight of just 350 kg/m³, Hempcrete makes construction easier, reduces transportation costs and relieves the load on the statics - perfect for modern, efficient timber construction.
Lightweight construction
For every 10 cubic meters of hempcrete (= 1 ton of CO2), myclimate currently pays the builder 80 CHF as a construction subsidy (via Openly)
