Hemp interior wall
Optimal indoor climate
The wall construction stands out for its monolithic design: hemp bricks and lime plaster form a compact system without additional insulation or separating layers. Conventional fired bricks are replaced by a bio-based building material—while maintaining a familiar workflow for designers and tradespeople.
Slaked lime has mold-inhibiting, antibacterial, and moisture-regulating properties. When combined with hemp bricks, which are equally vapor-permeable, it creates an optimal indoor climate for healthy living spaces. The hemp bricks (8–20 cm thick) are non-load-bearing and are used to shape the floor plan.
