The Cancret clay board sets new standards for interior walls in modern architecture. The new 12.5 mm thin clay building board offers 56 dB of sound insulation—twice the performance of conventional 16 mm boards. Weighing just 17 kg, it is easy to install in the standard drywall grid dimensions of 62.5 or 125 cm, though with 10 cm wooden studs instead of aluminum ones. Thanks to its high material density, it is particularly stable and durable.

Processing and application
The clay drywall panel is easy to handle and maintains its dimensions very well during installation. The clay panels are mounted directly onto the underlying wooden studs using screws or a staple gun.
